After crossing the border into South Carolina we decided to head towards the coast via a pretty little town called Conway.
We strolled along the water’s edge for a while under the iconic low hanging Southern Oak trees.
Once back on the road with our eye on the ocean, we stopped off at Cook Out to try “the best milkshakes in town”. Note to self that when an American says milk shake they mean ice cream. Ain’t no way that things getting through no straaaw.
We were good for nothing by the time we arrived at Myrtle beach but the next morning we got to the beach bright and early to enjoy some French toast and smokey bacon swimming in maple syrup.
Another perfect chapter in our road trip. Next we are heading to the cobbled streets of Charleston.
