I had high hopes for Queenstown but I couldn’t have imagined that it would be quite this beautiful. I fell in love with it instantly.
Autumn leaves are one of my all time favourite things, they can light up the dullest of days.
I had heard a lot about the legendary Fergburger so we starved ourselves before heading there and my god was it worth the wait.
Seeing as New Zealand is the adrenaline capital of the world, we wanted to do something to get our blood pumping and there’s no way I’m throwing myself off a bridge wearing an elastic band so we jumped into a jet boat instead.
My main priority in Queenstown though was to visit the old haunts of my lovely sister who lived here a decade ago.
Lomond Crescent was a good choice, what an amazing view to wake up to. I’m starting to think that breaking her leg skiing wasn’t an accident after all 😉
She worked at Coronet Peak ski resort which doesn’t have a bad view either.
She would ask customers if she could steal one of their chips or have a sip of their drink to keep herself entertained. Ten years on and she hasn’t changed a bit.
