After spending some quality time with my beautiful bestie, it’s time to head back to Sydney where we fly to a land that apparently has more sheep than Wales; I’ll believe it when I see it . A trip to Oz wouldn’t be complete without a cheeky little visit to Byron Bay though would it …
And it would have been rude to not pay Surfers Paradise a visit.
As you can probably tell, we decided to take the slow approach getting back to Sydney. We took our time and stopped anywhere that took our fancy.
One of the towns we stopped in was a little place called Dorrigo which had a sweet little bakery, an old school butcher and a pub with a fire – we were sold. This little gem also happened to have a world heritage listed rain forest so naturally we couldn’t leave without exploring that.
The trees were like something out of Narnia not to mention the endless amount of waterfalls.
We had a lovely send off from a truly beautiful country full of hilarious people, gobsmackingly beautiful nature and sultry sunsets.
